I did expect it to perform better than the Aruba 10, since the Trailblazer has more of a arched hull, but I found there to be no noticeable difference between the two. I had only used the Bass Pro Ascend FS10 kayak and was determined to buy one. The Spirit 100 is no different. There are only two issues I have: 1) with a thin plastic hull I'd be afraid to do any aggressive rapids 2) No dry storage. In the end, I am ecstatic with my purchase for the money I have spent!
